The City of McCook has been informed by the contractor that the armor coating of city streets will begin either the afternoon of Tuesday May 16^th or the morning of Wednesday May 17th, weather permitting.  We request that citizens who live in these areas remove all vehicles from the streets listed below.   Once the oil and gravel are applied on your street, the street will be opened for use.

The following streets are scheduled to be armor coated:

Norris Avenue                       from “F” Street to “O” Street (Driving Lanes Only)

Missouri Avenue Circle

West 1^st Street            from West “J” Street to West “O” Street

West 3^rd Street           from Blake Drive to Henton Road

West 7^th Street           from West “B” Street south to the gravel

West 8^th Street           from West “B” Street south to the gravel

West 9^th Street           from West “B” Street south to the gravel

West 10^th Street         from West “B” Street south to the gravel

West 11^th Street         from West “B” Street south to the gravel; and north to the T Intersection

West 12^th Street         from West “F” Street to West “J” Street; and from West “J” Street to West “M” Street; and from West “B” Street to the Cemetery Entrance

West 13^th Street         from West “H” Street to West “I” Street

West “A” Street        from West Federal Avenue to West 7^th Street

West “F” Street         from West 10^th Street to the alley west of West 12^th Street

West “G” Street        from Westridge to West 7^th Street

West “H” Street        from Westridge to West 7^th Street

West “I” Street          from West 1^st Street to West 4^th Street and from West 12^th Street to the alley between West 13^th Street and West 14^th Street

The contractor doing the work is Topkote.  It will be up to them as to where they start and what order the streets will be completed.
