Jared Muehlenkamp

Jared Muehlenkamp was sworn into office as a McCook City Councilmember on December 3, 2018.

Jared is a 2006 graduate of McCook High School and attended MCC where he also played baseball. After attending college in McCook, he went on to UNK to study Visual Communications and Design. Following college, he worked as a freelance designer as well as lead designer and Production Manager at a Sign Shop in Lincoln. From there he continued his studies, obtaining a degree in web design and development through DeVry Institute of Technology. That led to his internship in Los Angeles at TBWA Chiat/Day where Jared's work included designing assets for a documentary and assistance with the development of logos and design proposals for Gatorade and Starbucks while working under the design lead of Bory Chung.

Jared pursued muti media opportunities at TBWA Chiat/Day until he decided to move home the latter part of 2013. In 2014, the opportunity arose to purchase Acme Touch Printing where he is now the Owner and Creative Director. Acme has been in McCook since 1932 and was relocated to "the bricks" in downtown McCook early in 2017. On April 1st of 2019, Jared will celebrate five years of ownership of Acme Printing Company and three years of being a part of downtown McCook.

In August, 2017, Jared married his wife, Sadey and they are proud to live in the City of McCook. Jared has two older siblings, a sister in Colorado and a brother in Kearney, Nebraska.
