Skatepark Rules
Bolles Canyon Skatepark Rules
- The skatepark is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- WARNING: Use of the skatepark is at your own risk and is unsupervised. Know your abilities.
- The use of appropriate safety equipment such as helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist pads, gloves, and proper shoes is strongly recommended at all times.
- CAUTION: SLIPPERY WHEN WET. Weather and lightning conditions may cause unsafe surface conditions.
- Be courteous to others. Users must be under control at all times. Uncontrolled skating and other activities that endanger others will not be tolerated and will result in ejection from the skatepark.
- The City of McCook has the right to close the facility without notice.
- Youth under 10 years of age should be accompanied by an adult.
- City approval is required for all special events.
- BIKES WITH METAL PEGS ARE PROHIBITED.
- Modifications to any element or area within the skatepark are prohibited. Mobile ramps or other skating structures of makeshift nature are prohibited.
- No motorized equipment is permitted.
- Use of drugs, alcohol, or tobacco products is prohibited.
- No loud music, use of profanity, deliberately offensive conduct, or any other disturbances of peace is allowed.
- No glass is allowed in the skatepark.
- Unruly conduct, destroying or defacing public property, including the application of stickers, or graffiti is prohibited and will result in the loss of skating/biking privileges and/or closure of the facility.
- All animals must be kept on a leash and kept outside of the skating area.
- Dispose of trash properly.
- Please report any unsafe conditions or activities to 308-345-3450.
- Other rules and regulations applicable to the public’s use of McCook Parks will be enforced.
