We at the McCook Police Department exist to serve all people within our jurisdiction with respect, fairness, courtesy, and compassion. We are committed to:

  • The safeguarding of constitutional guarantees

With community service and education as our foundation, we are driven by goals to enhance the quality of life, investigating problems as well as crimes, seeking solutions, and fostering a sense of security in our community and citizens. We have faithfully sought after the public’s trust by holding ourselves to the highest standards of performance and ethics.

Services Provided
To fulfill this mission, the McCook Police Department is dedicated to providing a quality work environment and the development of its members through effective training and leadership. We further believe that proactive law enforcement is an attainable goal of our community’s future.

The McCook Police Department is committed to provide leadership in the cooperative efforts of the public, area agencies, and the schools by implementing a comprehensive juvenile plan for the community to better identify and address issues involving McCook’s youth, including school safety and drug abuse. We believe our children are our highest hope and most precious natural resource. We are committed to the maintenance of close working relationships with the individuals, groups, and businesses of our community.
