Senior Services
Resources
A senior service center is a community focal point where older persons can meet together, access a variety of services, and participate in activities that will enhance dignity, support independence, and encourage involvement in the community.

Information and Assistance Services
Senior centers are an integral part of a much larger caring human service system. The center provides access to information, advocacy, and coordination with other service providers within the network. Center staff is knowledgeable and willing to assist.

Nutritious Meals
Each center offers hot, nutritional balanced meals five days a week for those age 60 and over. Anyone under the age of 60 is welcomed to participate in the meal program and activities. The meal cost for persons under 60 is a set contribution rate.

Home Delivered Meals
Meals can be delivered to homebound individuals who are unable to prepare regular meals because of illness, injury, or disability. Not all sites provide home delivered meals and each center has eligibility requirements.

Activities
A wide variety of planned events are offered. Many centers have health education activities, including blood pressure screenings, foot clinics, and exercise and strength training classes.
