Repairs have been made to the outdoor warning sirens and many of them are back in service.  The siren located on East 11th Street near Kelly Creek Apartments and the siren located in the 100 block of West 11th Street near Fastenal are in the process of being repaired and are not currently in operation.

For the foreseeable future, the city will perform weekly tests on all of the sirens.  This test will occur on every Monday at approximately noon.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  Please stay tuned to local radio, weather radio, television, and mobile apps that give advanced warning of any impending severe weather.

If you have any questions concerning the outdoor warning sirens, feel free to contact Fire Chief Marc Harpham at (308) 345-5710.
